Guatemala - Vista al Bosque

Vista al Bosque, meaning the farm that overlooks the forest, is owned by Wilmar Castillo.  He was inspired to work hard and slowly purchase this coffee farm by watching his father work on coffee farms.  Witnessing his father’s passion and attention to detail had an impact on the way Vista al Bosque is run, and it certainly shows in the cup.

When we first received this coffee, we sample-roasted it a number of different ways and found something really rare: almost every roast profile we applied to this beautiful washed Guatemalan coffee was absolutely delicious in its own way.  A direct quote from our sales director, “It seems like it's impossible to screw up this coffee.”  He’s known to exaggerate a bit, but it’s true—all of us at Glen Edith were massively impressed with this coffee.

We chose a roast profile for these beans that we think you will love as much as we did.  This is a sweet cup that becomes deeply complex as it cools.
