Ethiopia - Yirgacheffe Dumerso

This Ethiopian coffee can be traced back to the Dumerso washing station, close to Yirga Chefe.  This is a family owned mill that processes coffee from over 750 small coffee farms.  They employ strict drying procedures, turning the coffee frequently to avoid over-fermentation (a yucky characteristic you’ll often find in naturally processed coffees.  Not this one!).

We’re still getting lots of berry notes, as expected with naturally processed coffees, particularly blackberry here.  It’s complimented with lots of lively, interesting, tropical flavors too!   Don’t miss the floral & mango notes in this cup.
